Common questions

What's the difference between Hi-MO X10 and Hi-MO 7?
The Hi-MO X10 uses LONGi's newer HPBC 2.0 back-contact cell technology for higher power (up to 650 W) and efficiency. The Hi-MO 7 is the proven TOPCon workhorse (580–620 W) — excellent value where you don't need the very latest cell tech. Both are bifacial dual-glass.

What does bifacial mean, and is it worth it?
Bifacial panels generate power from both faces, capturing reflected light off the ground. On the right mounting and surface (light rooftops, ground-mount), the rear-side gain is a real efficiency boost — worth it for most commercial and utility installations in high-irradiance regions.

How many panels do I need for my system?
Divide your target array size by the panel wattage — e.g. a 12 kW array uses about twenty 610 W panels. Match the total array to your inverter's recommended DC input (a DC/AC ratio around 1.2 is a sensible starting point in our markets). Ask us for a sizing check with your quote.
